Photography Certificate of Proficiency

Program Requirements


The 18-hour Certificate of Proficiency in Photography guides students through a sequence of classes including aspects of digital, traditional, commercial and alternative photographic methods. Upon completion of the certificate students will be proficient in equipment use including; digital camera, lighting, and materials, both traditional and non-traditional. The curriculum for the certificate consists of 18 hours in studio art, including ARST 3370  and ARST 3371 , and four upper-level photography courses that include: ARST 4370 , ARST 4371 , ARST 4372 , ARST 4373 , ARST 4374  and ARST 4315  (photography).
