CPSI 47803 - (was CPSC 4378) Immersive Technologies


Three hours lecture.

Was CPSC 4378. Provides students with a comprehensive introduction to the extended reality (XR) landscape in its different forms—virtual reality(VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality(MR)—encompassing the theoretical principles as well as the design and development of applications at a practical level. More specifically, guides students through the different stages of software development for both VR and AR solutions, introducing a design thinking mindset of leading XR development platforms as well as key methods and tools.
