Was ELEM 4902. Provides teacher candidates with one semester of clinical experience in a PreK-6 clinical setting, with at least 360 clock hours minimum, part of a year-long internship. Candidates will gain competence in planning, teaching, and assessment practices working in collaboration with mentor teachers and university personnel. The state of Arkansas approved teachers evaluation system for pre-service teacher candidates, Aspiring (TESS) Rubric, will be utilized in this course to provide teacher candidates with in-depth understanding and application of the four domains.

Prerequisites: Admission to the elementary or early childhood program.
