ECEG 43503 - Digital Signal Processing

Three hours lecture. Three credit hours.

Digital processing of continuous-time signals; discrete-time signals and systems in the z-domain; digital filter structures; IIR digital filter design; FIR digital filter design; DFT and FFT processing; DSP algorithm hardware implementation; practical application examples. Students with credit for ECEG 43503 cannot take ECEG 53503 for credit. Dual listed in the Graduate Catalog as ECEG 53503.

Prerequisites: SYEN 3350 or consent of instructor.
