ECEG 43203 - Linear State-Space Control Sys

Three hours lecture. Three credit hours.

Introduction to state-space methods, state variable models of LTI systems, solution to state equations, linear transformations and canonical forms, stability analysis, controller synthesis via state feedback, tracking system design, state estimation, observer-based compensator design, optimal control problems. Students with credit for ECEG 43203 cannot take ECEG 53203 for credit. Dual listed in the Graduate Catalog as ECEG 53203.

Prerequisites: ECEG 36403 or consent of instructor.
