CPSI 21803 - AI Governance


Three credit hours.

This course equips students with the knowledge and practical tools needed to direct artificial-intelligence systems toward responsible, lawful and socially beneficial outcomes. Through case studies and hands-on exercises, learners explore modern transparency techniques, privacy-preserving design for commercial LLMs, and best practices for data provenance and consent. They analyze adversarial threats, interpret cross-industry regulations and global policy frameworks, and evaluate emerging legal standards to craft actionable compliance plans. 

Prerequisites: CPSI 10803 .
