Three credit hours.

Was ANTH 4325. Surveys the archaeology of Egyptian civilization, from the earliest settlement of the Nile River Valley through the conquest of Alexander the Great and his successors. The course will also consider the origins of the field of Egyptology as well as several key archaeological sites representing the lives of both the elite and ordinary citizens of the Nile River Valley.
