ARAD 35003 - (was 3350) Introduction to Ceramics


Three credit hours.

Was ARAD 3350. Introductory course that includes the history, development, and aesthetics of ceramic vessels and sculpture. Students will learn basic technical aspects of building with clay, working with glazes, and the firing of ceramic objects. Emphasis will be placed on problem-solving and the development of ideas. The creative process, critical thinking, and the development of design skills are also important elements of this course.
