ARED 34502 - (was 3245) Art for Elementary Teachers

Two credit hours.

Was ARED 3245. An investigation of elementary-level art education focusing on materials and methods for teaching art history, art criticism, and studio production to children. Attention is given to the relationship of the visual arts to general education, the developmental growth of children in art, curriculum planning, and current issues in art education. This course is offered for preprofessional teachers in the College of Education’s Early Childhood Education program.
