ARHS 21003 - (was ARHA 2311) World Art Survey II

Three credit hours.

Was ARHA 2311. ARHS 21003 is the second course in the three World Art Surveys. It explores art and architecture from around the world from about 1300 to about 1840. The course is part of a three-semester survey sequence that is designed to acquaint the student with the arts of Asia, Africa, Europe, the Americas, and the Pacific Island. In addition, this course aims to hone students’ research writing and critical thinking skills. This course is required for most art majors, art history majors, and minors. It may be an elective course for other students.  (ACTS Course Number ARTA 2103)

Prerequisites: ARHS 20003  or consent of instructor.
