BINS 45203 - (was 4352) Big Data Analytics Tools

Was BINS 4352. Focuses on extracting information from large databases and designing decision support systems. The extracted knowledge is subsequently used to support decisions relating to summarization, prediction, and explanation of observed phenomena (e.g. patterns, trends, and consumer behavior). Students will have the opportunity to analyze real-world datasets using industry-standard analysis and visualization tools.

Prerequisites: BINS 35203 or consent of instructor.
