BIOL 41494 - (was 4414) Soil Biology

Two hours lecture. Four hours laboratory per week. Four credit hours.

Was BIOL 4414. Principles of soil science with an emphasis on soil formation and classification, soil chemistry, soil biology, and soil management. Dual listed in the Graduate Catalog as BIOL 51494 (was BIOL 5414).

Prerequisites: BIOL 10004  or BIOL 10104 , BIOL 20304  or BIOL 20504 , or their equivalents. CHEM 10234 , or CHEM 10544 , BIOL 20194 , and BIOL 30883  are strongly recommended. If taken for graduate credit, the prerequisites also include a BS in Biology or instructor permission.
