BIOL 41593 - (was 4315) Toxicology


Three hours lecture. Three credit hours.

Was BIOL 4315. Principles of toxicology are presented with an emphasis on toxicokinetics and toxicity mechanisms. Laboratory testing, risk analysis, and study design requirements are applied to various settings. Lectures will be supplemented with case studies. Dual listed in the Graduate Catalog as BIOL 51593 (was BIOL 5315).

Prerequisites: BIOL 10104 , BIOL 20194 , and BIOL 20504 ; Successful completion of BIOL 30294  or BIOL 41384  is strongly recommended. If taken for graduate credit, the prerequisites also include a BS in biology or permission of the instructor.
