Was BIOL 4551. A consideration of the relationship of marine organisms to their environment. The effects of temperature, salinity, light, nutrient concentration, currents, food, predation, and competition on the abundance and distribution of marine organisms are considered.
Prerequisites: 16 credit hours of biological science including general Zoology, general Botany, and invertebrate Zoology.
