Was BIOM 4507. Supervised experience in a biotechnology research laboratory. Emphasis on manual and automated techniques and the development of professional behavior. Includes research principles and techniques, laboratory organization, and materials management. Twenty clinic hours per week.

Prerequisites: Admission to the professional program in Molecular Biotechnology, BIOL 41784, and BIOL 41884.
