CNMG 37603 - (was 3376) Engineering Structural Mechanics Two hours lecture. Two hours laboratory per week. Three credit hours.
Was CNMG 3376. The study of deformation in structural materials: stresses and strains due to tension, compression, torsion, and bending; internal shear forces and bending moments; stress and strain transformations; design of beams and analysis of beam deflections; buckling of columns; introduction to the deformation of structures. Spring only.
Prerequisites: Grade of C or higher in CNMG 27003 .
