CNMG 45703 - (was 4357) Water and Wastewater Engineering

Three hours lecture. Three credit hours.

Was CNMG 4357. An introduction to drinking water treatment and distribution and wastewater collection and treatment. Topics include coagulation; flocculation; softening; ion exchange; membrane filtration; sedimentation; filtration; disinfection; wastewater microbiology; primary, secondary, and tertiary treatment of wastewater, and residual management. Spring only.

Prerequisites: Grades of C or higher in CNMG 35703  and CNMG 37403 .
