CNMG 46603 - (was 4366) Solid and Hazardous Waste Management


Two hours lecture. Two hours laboratory per week. Three credit hours.

Was CNMG 4366. Overview of fundamental principles related to solid and hazardous waste management including collection, handling, costs, and disposal. Discussion of rules, regulations, and management systems for proper destruction, immobilization and control of solid and hazardous wastes. Evaluation of engineering systems to minimize costs and assessment of the environmental impact of a management system. Fall only.

Prerequisites: Grade of C or higher in CNMG 35703 .
