ELED 40403 - (was ELEM 4304) Internship Seminar I

Three credit hours.

Was ELEM 4304. This course will emphasize planning, teaching, using assessment to Inform instruction, and becoming a reflective practitioner in the PreK-6 classroom. Teacher candidates will collaborate with university personnel and mentor teachers to connectthis course with authentic clinical experience during a year-long internship. The state of Arkansas approved teacher evaluation system for pre-service teacher candidates Aspiring (TESS) Rubric, will be utllized in this course to provide teacher candidates an in-depth understanding of the four domains as they participate in the year-long intemship experience to ensure that they are Day 1 ready for the elementary or early childhood classroom.

Prerequisites: Admission to the Elementary or Early Childhood program.
