ENGL 47633 - (was 4376) Essay

Three credit hours.

Was ENGL 4376. Focuses on reading, interpreting, analyzing, and teaching the essay, especially relative to literature. The literary study of the essay form relative to the studies of poetry, short stories, novels, and hybrid forms provides students with a framework for critically engaging essays and their diversity.

Prerequisites: Recommended: Junior-level English course or instructor approval.
