GEOL 33004 - (was ERSC 3430) Structural Geology


Three hours lecture. Two hours laboratory per week. Four credit hours.

Was ERSC 3430. The description and analysis of geological structures in Earth’s crust. Topics covered include the description of geological structures, stress, strain, rheology, the kinematics and dynamics of folding and faulting, and microstructural analysis.

Prerequisites: GEOL 34004
