Was GEOG 3301. Examines and analyzes the cultural and environmental geography of the European region. Topics include the geodemography of Europe with special attention placed on the challenges posed by low regional birth rates and high immigration, the opportunities and constraints associated with the uneven distribution of natural resources, and the paradox of ongoing regional integration and fragmentation in light of historical and contemporary geographic contexts.
