Three credit hours.

Was GEOG 3315. Study of Arkansas’ natural and cultural environments with emphasis on how various groups, past and present, interact with the state’s natural regions. Geologic, climate, soil, and vegetation patterns are examined. Settlement patterns and economic activities including agriculture, forestry, mining, and industry. Population distributions are analyzed and placed together with the state’s natural regions.
