GEOG 3333 - Introduction to Geospatial Technologies


Three credit hours.

In this course, you will be introduced to a variety of geospatial technologies and gain hands-on experience with these technologies. Geospatial technologies include the global positioning system (GPS), satellite imagery, and geographic information systems (GIS). Students will be exposed to practical applications of these technologies that span both the physical and social sciences. This course should be completed before enrolling in GIS I.
