Three credit hours.

Was HIST 4393. Advanced study of a topic in non-US history chosen by the instructor. Includes a major research and writing project incorporating the department’s goals of identifying a problem, establishing a thesis, gathering, evaluating, and analyzing evidence, and writing in an appropriate scholarly format. Dual listed in the Graduate Catalog as HIST 53953 (was HIST 5393).

Prerequisites: HIST 11103 , HIST 11203 , and three hours of upper-level non-US history.
