Three hours lecture. Three credit hours.

Was IFSC 2305. In-depth introduction to the components of a personal computer. Topics include number systems, the identification and organization of the CPU, memory, peripherals, cache technology, bus technology, upgrading, troubleshooting, and maintaining a personal computer. Incorporates hands-on laboratory experiences.

Prerequisites: IFSC 10202  or its equivalent, or instructor consent.
