IFSC 40001 - (was 4100) Independent Study

One, two, three, four, five, or six credit hours.

Was IFSC 4100. Individual research by the advanced student. Topics are determined based on faculty interest and availability. Two to four hours per week per credit hour. The exact time and nature of the experience depends on the subject matter and is agreed upon at the beginning of the term by the student and the instructor. Agreement must be in writing and filed with the chairperson. A maximum of six credit hours can be applied toward IFSC major requirements. May be repeated.

Prerequisites: Department Chair consent.
