IFSC 40004 - (was 4400) Independent Study

One, two, three, four, five, or six credit hours.

Was IFSC 4400. Individual research by the advanced student. Topics are determined based on faculty interest and availability. Two to four hours per week per credit hour. The exact time and nature of the experience depend on the subject matter and are agreed upon at the beginning of the term by the student and the instructor. Agreement must be in writing and filed with the Department Chair. May be repeated. A maximum of six credit hours can be applied toward IFSC major requirements.

Prerequisites: Department Chair consent.
