Additional topics selected from the Tychonoff theorem, compactifications, homotopy, the fundamental group, retractions and fixed points, and the fundamental group of surfaces. Dual listed in the Graduate Catalog as MATH 50663 (was MATH 5306).
Prerequisites: Grade of C or greater in MATH 30263 and MATH 26004 .
