MATH 42363 - (was 4323) Numerical Analysis

Three hours lecture. Three credit hours.

Was MATH 4323. Error analysis, fixed points and roots, interpolation, approximations, numerical differentiation and integration, linear systems, and differential equations. Dual listed in the Graduate Catalog as MATH 52363 (was MATH 5323).

Prerequisites: Grades of C or greater in MATH 26004 , MATH 31263 , or equivalent courses. Knowledge of a scientific programming language.
