Was MUTH 1161. Lab course. Students will learn fundamental principles of aural training, including singing alone and with others, basic intervals, diatonic scales, tonal patterns, and rhythms. Movable-do solfege will also be introduced.

Corequisites: MUTH 16133 and MUAP 16151.
