PSYC 42133 - (was 4321) Independent Study Three credit hours.
Was PSYC 4321. Provides students the opportunity to pursue individualized study in an area of psychology through directed readings, independent research, or both, under the supervision of a faculty member. This course is designed to foster deeper engagement with psychological theories, methodologies, or applied topics not covered in the standard curriculum. Students will work collaboratively with their faculty mentor to develop a plan of study, establish learning outcomes, and complete a culminating project such as a research paper, presentation, or literature review. Ideal for students preparing for graduate study or wishing to explore a specialized topic in depth.
Prerequisites: Junior standing, grade of “C” or better in PSYC 33554 , and instructor consent.
