Three credit hours.

Was SOCI 3340. The experiences of Black Americans are subdivided into significant periods with corresponding motifs. Attempts will be made to conceptualize the major influences from each motif-period in the struggle of Black Americans for sociopolitical and economic equality in a dominantly white society.
