THTR 35133 - (was THEA 3351) Acting II

Three credit hours.

Was THEA 3351. Acting II is an intermediate level performance course devoted primarily to scene study. Class exercises and projects are designed to strengthen the student’s facility in a range of acting skills derived from the Stanislavski system that are common to contemporary theatrical practice, and that is also applicable to on-camera acting. Other contemporary methodologies may also be utilized (e.g., Meisner technique; Viewpoints and Compositions; physical theatre; etc.) for the purposes of creative exploration and to expand one’s acting skills.

Prerequisites: THTR 25233  and THTR 26043 .
