ECET 44901 - (was 4149) Photovoltaics and Renewable Energy Lab

Three hours laboratory per week. One credit hours.

Was ECET 4149. Laboratory experiments and projects to provide practical know-how and training in power electronics necessary to interface renewable energy generators to load and grid. Examine the effects of angle of tilt, shading, and irradiance on PY power production. The project will include the design of a low-power mppt-controlled standalone PY system. Also includes simulation.
