HHPR 38303 - (was HHPS 3383) Introduction to Epidemiology

Was HHPS 3383. Introduces the basic principles and methods of epidemiology, including epidemiological terminology, the fundamental principles of epidemiology, the exploration of disease patterns, threats to health, epidemiological methods for prevention, and control and treatment. Upon completing the course, students will be able to describe how disease is distributed within populations and communities. Intended for undergraduate students interested in any health education-related career, or may need to use data and conclusions from epidemiological research studies.
