HHPR 34004 - (was HHPS 3440) Teaching Individual Sports

Four credit hours.

Was HHPS 3440. An examination of the theory and practice of K-12 teaching/coaching team sports. Students will be introduced to the rules, procedures, strategies, and skill performance of various individual sports and how each sport should be planned and implemented into the teaching/coaching curriculum. Traditional sports such as tennis, golf, tumbling, and track and field may be covered as well as nontraditional sports such as ultimate frisbee and others. Hybrid.
