INTR 36303 - (was 3363) Interpreting Specialized Terminology


Three credit hours.

Was INTR 3363. Students will acquire skills and vocabulary for interpreting in specialized settings such as medical, mental health, legal, rehabilitation, counseling, technical, and religious fields. Emphasis is on the acquisition of specific terminology, concepts, and protocols in each area.

Prerequisites: The completion of an Associate of Science in ASL Studies, and an intermediate level on the Signed Communication Proficiency Interview (SCPI).
