CPSI 47903 - (was CPSC 4379) Principles of UI and UX


Three credit hours.

Was CPSC 4379. A general introduction to the theory and practice of software user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design, including theories underlying industry-standard techniques for effective user interfaces. Modern UI/UX design and implementation approaches for software interfaces in a variety of systems (e.g., online computer games, mobile applications). Practical portfolio work provides ample opportunity for hands-on UI/UX project experience.  Dual listed in the Graduate Catalog as CPSI 57903 (was CPSC 5379).

Prerequisites: Senior standing or consent of the instructor
