Was MEEG 4185. First semester of mechanical engineering capstone design sequence. Focuses on the requirements definition process to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, ethical, health and safety, and manufacturability using appropriate engineering standards.

Prerequisites: Completion of 35 credit hours of MEEG courses or consent of instructor.
