School of Engineering and Engineering Technology

The School of Engineering and Engineering Technology houses the Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) and Mechanical Engineering (ME) programs in the EIT building (5th Floor) and the Electronics & Computer Engineering Technology (ECET) and Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET) programs in the ETAS building (2nd Floor).
The Engineering programs (ECE & ME) offer high-quality undergraduate and graduate programs that provide students with the tools and knowledge to design, build, operate, maintain, and monitor complex electrical and mechanical systems and prepare them for leadership positions in managing these systems throughout their life cycles. Our graduate programs include Master’s and Ph.D. programs. The undergraduate programs grew out of the Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering, and the faculty have retained the systems approach in the design process. We offer ABET accredited undergraduate programs in Electrical & Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

The Engineering Technology programs (ECET & MET) offer high-quality undergraduate programs that emphasize hands-on learning and practical aspects of engineering. Both ET programs stress the application of established engineering principles to design, fabricate, and test electronic and mechanical components and systems to analyze and solve industry type problems. Many engineering technology courses have laboratories, and the laboratory experience is an integral part of the learning objectives of the program. We offer ABET accredited undergraduate programs in Electrical & Computer Engineering Technology and Mechanical Engineering Technology (Both Bachelor’s and Associates).

Courses in our programs are backed by dedicated, distinguished, and experienced faculty members, with advanced degrees. All of our programs are tailored to prepare the Engineers of the future to contribute to the health, wealth, and security of our state, nation, and the world.
