Program Requirements

The minor in statistics is designed for students who wish to apply their mathematical training in any of the many fields that employ statistics. It requires at least 12 hours of statistics courses, including STAT 35003 , STAT 35203 , STAT 35303 , and either STAT 35103  or STAT 45203 . MATH 12362 , MATH 24004 , and MATH 25004  are also required. Statistics courses, except STAT 35203 , used for a minor may not be used to satisfy requirements for a major in mathematics.
