Web Design & Development Program Requirements


This B.A. in Web Design and Development was collaboratively developed by from the departments of Art + Design, Rhetoric and Writing, Mass Communication, and Information Science.

The program is designed to accommodate a diverse range of individuals, including traditional university students and professionals from various fields. In today’s landscape, industries and disciplines across the board, from healthcare to retail, recognize the significance of responsive websites and mobile apps as vital tools for effective stakeholder communication. Consequently, this program offers opportunities for recent graduates, those seeking professional advancement or certification, and employees aiming to revitalize their skill sets.

By enrolling in this program, students can explore the multifaceted nature of art, writing, communication, and technology at the intersection of these disciplines. Its adaptable Capstone Courses provide flexibility to cater to individual needs, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.

General: 120 total hours, including 45 hours of upper-level courses (3000-4000 level), and 30 hours in residence
