Applied Archeology Certificate of Proficiency

The Applied Archeology Certificate of Proficiency consists of 18-20 hours of coursework in Anthropology, Geology, and Geography. The structure of the certificate is 9 hours of required courses, 6-8 hours of methodology courses, and 3 hours of cultural area courses.

Prerequisite


ANTH 31303  or ANTH 32003  or another archeology course approved by anthropology faculty.

Required Courses (9 hours)


Group A:


2 methods courses; at least 1 must be a geospatial technology course OR GIS (6-8 hours)

Group B:


1 culture/region course (3 hours)
