CNMG 31303 - (was 3313) Civil Engineering Materials with Lab Two hours lecture. Two hours laboratory per week. Three credit hours.
Was CNMG 3313. Properties of materials and materials science, including atomic structure and bonding, lattice structures and defects, grain structure, alloys, and phase diagrams. Construction engineering materials, including steel, aluminum, aggregates, Portland cement, concrete, masonry, asphalt, wood, and composites. Fall only.
Prerequisites: Grades of C or higher in CHEM 10234 or CHEM 10634 , and in CNMG 37603 .
