STAT 2350 - Introduction to Statistical Methods


Three hours lecture. Three credit hours.

Introduction to the fundamental ideas of statistics, including descriptive statistics, normal distributions, sampling experiments, tests of hypotheses, and elementary probability. This course cannot be applied as upper-level credit toward a major in mathematics. (ACTS Course MATH 2103)

Prerequisites: MATH 1302  or 1315 or MATH 1321  or equivalent.
