NURS 2250 - Competency for Entry into Prac


Two credit hours.

The focus of the course is to support transition to the practice of nursing through synthesis of knowledge. Students will demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and attitudes in the program competencies of patient centered care, evidence-based practice, teamwork and collaboration, safety, quality improvement, and informatics. Comprehensive review will support student readiness for the NCLEX-RN examination. Five weeks. Two credit theory.

Prerequisites: NURS 2410: NURS 2420: CHEM 1400 or CHEM 1402 or CHEM 1405
Prerequisite or Corequisite:  NURS 2550: BIOL 2401
