ELED 40109 - (was ELEM 4901) Internship I

Nine credit hours.

Was ELEM 4901. Provides teacher candidates with one semester of clinical experience in an approved K-6 school setting; part of a year-long internship. Candidates will gain competence in planning, teaching, and assessment practices working in collaboration with mentor teachers and university personnel. The state of Arkansas approved teacher evaluation for pre-service teacher candidates Aspiring (TESS) rubric, will be utilized in this course to provide teacher candidates with in-depth understanding and application of the four domains.

Prerequisites: Admission to the elementary or early childhood education program.
